“H-40!”
Tonight a bunch of us went to Albert Pike to play BINGO and serve ice cream to the residents. There was a good turn out! One thing that touched me was the guy that kept winning over and over and when he won the grand prize (4 prizes!) he allowed 2 little boys from our church to each pick a prize! What a generous guy!!!
David was a great BINGO announcer it was like he was born to do that job! Katie was really good too and everyone had a good laugh when she announced, "H-40!"

Movies in the Park
In case you didn't know, Movies in the Park starts this Wednesday (after Sweet Justice). It happens at Riverfront Amphitheater every Wednesday through August 4th. Flicks start at sundown so I’m suggesting you go watch some movies.

Travs Game on Thurs, 4/29
We are planning to head to the AR Traveler's Game at Dickey-Stephens Park on Thursday, April 29th around 7pm. The game starts at 7:10pm, and the Travs are playing Tulsa. Tickets are on 2BC, as long as you reserve yours by Tuesday, April 27th. Just email me at byoung@2bclr.com to let me know you want a ticket. We are buying General Admission tix, so anyone who wants to come last minute can just buy a ticket for $6 at the door.
AND...if you need a little extra incentive to join us for this fun event, let me share with you that April 29th also happens to be "Bark in the Park" promo night- bring your dog to Dickey-Stephens and enjoy Travs baseball with your canine. Doggy contests and games are planned throughout the event! AND if that wasn't enough, there will be a Baha Men Post-Game Concert in Hookslide Corner. Their hit song…you guessed it, "Who Let the Dogs Out!"

MacPark 5K
There's a downtown 5k Friday Evening May 7th. The race will start at 7pm and is followed with free beer, pizza and live music. The cost is $25 and all the proceeds go towards implementation of the MacArthur Park Master Plan. There will be quite a few folks from REstore running so come join us! Memphis in May & Riverfest
So in case you haven't noticed, it's really cool to bash local music festivals. The Beale Street Music Festival (Memphis in May) and Riverfest in Little Rock manage to bring B and C level talent each year as headlining acts. However these efforts are one of the better attempts in the area to bring a concentration of musical talent in at one time and place. So I (Jesse) support that effort. Anyway I just thought I'd post some info on the up coming events.
